“Played” (instrument or band) (past) in Tunisian Arabic

In Tunisian Arabic, “Played” (the verb, as in playing an instrument or in a band, in the past tense) is written using the Latin script as:

(You) 3zafet

(You, plural) 3zaftou

(He) 3zaf

(She) 3azfet

(We) 3zafna

(They) 3azfou

Using the Arabic script, it is written as:

عزفت (I)

عزفتو (You, plural)

عزفو (They)

“I played the guitar at my friend’s birthday party.”

“She played the flute in the marching band last year.”
