Her favourite movie is عسل اسود ("Black honey") which is about, as she writes, "[an] Egyptian man who immigrated to USA 20 years ago, and when he came to back to visit Egypt, he was fascinated by his country, and even after facing many problems in Egypt, he wanted to stay their till the rest of his life." She loves "all Egyptian food" and mentioned Mahshy, Koshary and Mlokhya as being amongst her favourites; And her favourite place in Egypt is along the Red Sea, noting that she likes much of the region but that Dahab is her favourite town.
