“Alternate between” (future) in Tunisian Arabic

In Tunisian Arabic, “Alternate between” (the verb, in the future tense) is written using the Latin script as:

(I) Nbaddel bin

(You) Tbaddel bin

(You, plural) Tbaddlou bin

(He) Ybaddel bin

(She) Tbaddel bin

(We) Nbaddlou bin

(They) Ybaddlou bin

Using the Arabic script, it is written as:

نبدّل بين (I)

تبدّل بين (You)

تبدّلو بين (You, plural)

يبدّل بين (He)

تبدّل بين (She)

نبدّلو بين (We)

يبدّلو بين (They)

“I will alternate between the tasks I have to do.”

Bech nbaddel bin les tâches elli lezemeni na3malhom.

.بش نبدّل بين لي تاش اللّي لازمني نعملهم

“I am not going to alternate between these two tasks.”

Menich bech nbaddel bin les tâches hedhom ezzouz.

.مانيش بش نبدّل بين لي تاش هاذم الزوز

“You should alternate between studying and taking breaks.”

(singular) Lezmek tbaddel bin l 9raya wel les pauses.

(plural) Lezemkom tbaddlou bin l 9raya wel les pauses.

.لازمك تبدّل بين القراية و لي بوز (singular)

.لازمكم تبدّلو بين القراية و لي بوز (plural)

“You two should alternate between these two tasks.”

Entouma ezzouz lezemkom tbaddlou bin les tâches hedhom ezzouz.

.انتوما الزوز لازمكم تبدّلو بين لي تاش هاذم الزوز

“He is going to alternate between driving and resting during the trip.”

Bech ybaddel bin essiye9a wel ra7a fel re7la.

.بش يبدّل بين السيّاقة و الراحة في الرحلة

“She is going to alternate between both projects.”

Bech tbaddel bin l mecheri3 ezzouz.

.بش تبدّل بين المشاريع الزوز

“We should alternate between these two tasks.”

Lezemna nbaddlou bin les tâches hedhom ezzouz.

.لازمنا نبدّلو بين لي تاش هاذم الزوز

“They will alternate between these two assignments.”
