In Turkish, “I live in…” (as in the statement that preludes telling someone where one lives) is written as:
(when the last vowel of the operative word is a bold vowel and the last consonant of the operative word is a soft consonant) -da yaşıyorum
(when the last vowel of the operative word is a bold vowel and the last consonant of the operative word is a hard consonant) -ta yaşıyorum
(when the last vowel of the operative word is a thin vowel and the last consonant of the operative word is a soft consonant) -de yaşıyorum
(when the last vowel of the operative word is a thin vowel and the last consonant of the operative word is a hard consonant) -te yaşıyorum
